Documentary photographs of life, weddings, families and brands that feel…

Genuine. Emotional. Full of Life.

Hi! I’m Gina, a Boston wedding photographer who specializes in documenting the beautiful chaos of life. I tell the stories of couples, families, and entrepreneurs through my photographs and find it endlessly fascinating.

My primary differentiator is emotional access. Not just noticing moments, but understanding people well enough to anticipate and interpret them.

I have a human-first approach and foreground comfort, ease, and allowing people to be themselves. Your experience is positioned as central, not secondary.

I focus on capturing the energy, emotion and essence of moments in the most authentic and artful way. My vast background as a documentary photographer means you won’t feel the camera, but those final photographs will prove I never miss a beat.

When all is said and done, you won’t just have amazing photographs, you’ll have a visual story that will reignite memories and allow you to feel it all over again.

I welcome individuals of all races, nationalities, languages, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, neurotypes, faith traditions, and family structures. Your unique lived experience and perspective are valued here.

Weddings

My approach as a documentary wedding photographer means I can capture beautiful photographs in the most unobtrusive way possible, and my years of experience mean I know how to catch that perfect shot at any given moment.

A bride with a bouquet laughing with two friends in a sunlit hall

“We are floored. Gina delivered an incredible collection that so fully captured the spirit of the day. Within about 30 seconds of viewing the slideshow, we were crying.”

“Hiring Gina was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. She is both an all-around professional and delight to work with.”

“To say that I am obsessed and completely in love with these photographs would be an understatement. From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO MUCH for perfectly capturing our wedding weekend. It’s incredible how many emotions come through in every single image.”

Elopements

Regardless of the size of your guest list, the day you marry your life partner is incredibly important and special. I’d love to help you create a day that focuses on each other and reflects your relationship in the most natural and authentic way.

“Gina’s documentary style is exactly what we were looking for our elopement! My husband and I are both self-conscious people who are not comfortable in front of a camera. Gina was so kind and supportive.”

“Gina is simply incredible. Beyond her incredible skill, Gina is someone you want to have around – she’s a warm and calming presence and genuinely loves what she does.”

“My husband and I cannot express enough our gratitude and appreciation for Gina! She is the best of the best! She is one of the most lovely people I have ever met and makes you feel so special, valued and taken care of.”

Engagements

Instead of a formal photo session, I encourage couples to pick a slice of their life to document. A date night, cooking at home, a regular outing – and that shared activity becomes the session. This creates a natural experience and a meaningful record of this stage of your life.

“Thank you so much Gina! We are just blown away by these photographs! They really capture us and we love every single one.”

“It ended up raining on our wedding day but Gina didn’t miss a beat – she captured our first look, our ceremony (outside in the rain!) and our reception with creativity and grace.”

“By far the best decision we made was in choosing Gina as our photographer. With so many moving parts to deal with in planning a wedding, it was such a delight to have zero worries about the photography.”

Branding

I nix the traditional headshot and trade it for a ‘behind the scenes’ documentation at your office, studio, shop, home… wherever you’re in your element, doing what you love. In the end, you’ll have a collection of photographs that go deeper, tell your story and connect with your ideal clients.

“Ridiculously excited about this beautiful branding session I had done with Gina. She documented my real life, my writing process, my family, and walking in the woods.”

Families

I document families without sets, props, posing, or any fuss.

I help create a comfortable and judgment-free zone where you can be your perfectly imperfect selves. All you need to do is open the front door and trust you’ll have photographs that encapsulate your family life in a true and beautiful way.

“Gina was able to capture the most honest photos of the three of us I could ever imagine.”

“Gina has a way of capturing these very real and human moments you just can’t stage. It was as if she always knew how to be in the right place at the right time.”
