My engagement photography sessions are 45 minutes to 2 hours in length and provide some much-needed time during the wedding planning process to just have fun and be a couple. And because wedding planning already involves enough decisions, I make it easy for clients and don’t ask you to choose your favorite photos. Instead, I deliver you an entire collection of edited, hi-res, print-ready digital files.
I offer a variety of packages with timeframes that work for you and your unique business. All include a large collection of the edited, high resolution photographs with commercial release – meaning you can use them in any and every way for the growth of your brand and business!
Up front, you will pay for a flat session fee. After that session, when your photos are ready for viewing, you and your family will have the opportunity to view them in the comfort of your own home via a custom slideshow. (Families really enjoy this part!)
From there, you will choose your exact collection package for purchase. I have a variety of collections that include a range of digital photo options, so you know the collection you’re choosing will include all your session favorites.
Along with full support in creating a ‘flow of day’ centered around you and your experience, all documentation includes a curated collection of the edited, high-resolution photographs with print release on a beautiful online gallery. Each of your photographs will be in both color and black and white and you can download, and enjoy, each and every one.

Though I’m sure we’ll cover lots of ground when we connect, here are a few answers to some questions you may have in the meantime.
I define documentary photography as an unstaged, hands-off approach that captures genuine, raw, and emotional moments as they naturally unfold. I focus on authentic storytelling and “in-between” moments, working discreetly to allow subjects to be themselves rather than directing or posing them.
I studied documentary photography in both undergraduate and graduate school. My work centered around my passion for sub-cultures and the celebration of individuals and communities outside of the mainstream and norm. I learned to ensure that everyone I photographed felt trusting, comfortable and at ease with me. I ensure they didn’t feel observed and exploited but instead seen. That same philosophy is how I approach each and every wedding I photograph today.
I have found that the most flattering photographs are the ones without any interference, performance or posing. By catching a genuine and emotional moment and using my experience and skills as a photographer, I am creating an artful image that highlights your beauty.
I completely understand and feel the same way when I’m on the other side of the camera. To put you at ease, I’ll share that my portfolio is made of individuals who felt the same way. I promise our time together will be comfortable and centered around your experience. I’ll help ensure you can forget about the camera, be present and not feel performative. When you don’t feel that you’re being photographed, you can’t hate it.
I understand the importance of family photographs and always ensure you have as many (or as few) portraits as you’d like. I’ll help you decide when they can take place for the least amount of impact on your day and will take the lead to ensure it is an enjoyable, relaxed and efficient experience. Each portrait will be well lit and loved by every generation.
For the majority of the day (sometimes all of it!) I am using ambient light to photograph. This approach is not only less obtrusive, it also reflects how your day felt.
I nearly always work solo. Ensuring you and your guests can forget about the camera is how I capture the authentic and genuine moments that I do. By working alone, you’ll feel more at ease and won’t have a crew following you around. And my years of experience allow me to seemingly be everywhere at once. I also find I can document your story in a more cohesive way because I know what has and what has yet to be photographed. Lastly, as your one and only visual author, your collection of photographs will be wonderfully cohesive.
Of course! I celebrate BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent and ALL individuals and couples from all cultures, beliefs and backgrounds. I am neurodivergent myself with a complex story that allows me to relate to others in a deep way. The human experience fascinates me and I’m very grateful that I can use my camera to show and record its complexity and beauty.
Absolutely! While I’m based in Boston I regularly photograph throughout New England and beyond.
I always ensure you receive an exceptional curated gallery of quality photographs in both color and b&w. To achieve this, my regular turnaround time for your wedding gallery is 10 weeks. If you’d like a preview 2 weeks after your wedding, this can be closer to 12 weeks.
