Branding

Give a glimpse into your authentic self

The Process

Years ago, I discovered how much life a documentary-style approach brought to traditional wedding photography, and I bring that same approach to businesses as a Boston Branding Photographer.

Believe me when I say I understand how much time and energy goes into building and maintaining a website, social media accounts and general online presence. These aren’t just tools to tell potential clients what you do, but how you do it.

I want to help make your brand feel personal. Unique. Honest. The right photographs have the ability to do this – and I’d love to help.

Clients will be able to get an authentic sense of who you are. Understand what you’re all about and know you’re a great fit within seconds.

To do that, we nix the traditional headshot and trade it for a ‘behind the scenes’ photo session at your office, studio, store, home… wherever you are in your element, doing what you love.

In the end, you’ll have a collection of photographs that go deeper, feel like you, tell your story and connect with your ideal clients.

You can use your large and diverse collection of photographs anywhere you like, including your website and social media channels.

Stressing about visual content will be a thing of the past and your brand will reach new heights with the powerful connections it makes!

The Experience

“Ridiculously excited about this beautiful branding session I had done with Gina. She documented my real life, my writing process, my family, and walking in the woods. I hoped to get a few snaps to use across social media and on my website, but instead I got over 500 incredible photos that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

I cannot recommend hiring her as your branding photographer enough. It’s one of the best investments you can make.

So frickin happy with these Gina!”

“First and foremost, I have nothing but love and rave reviews for Gina. From the first correspondence I had with her, she was warm, friendly, professional, flexible, and eager to learn about my business and how I wanted to portray it. Not only that but the important questions she asked, really helped me to visualize and put into words what my mission was and what I wanted clients to take away from my website.

We decided after a long chat that we would take my pictures at home, showing all sides of me: mom/wife, yoga enthusiast, and health coach. She was just so personable and I felt like she got me immediately, she was super supportive and excited for my business and my ideas and I instantly connected with her and knew within minutes that I was going to go with her for my pictures. This was all before the pictures were even taken!

I could not have been more pleased with how my pictures came out, or blown away is the better description.

I am not someone who enjoys being in front of the camera, in fact, I tried everything to not be on my website but with the right photographer, I’m confident to share these pictures tell my story. This session was the final push I needed to just go for it.

If you have any reservations about professional branding pictures for your business, Gina is the person to speak with. In a nutshell, she’s amazing.

Working with Gina as my Branding Photographer was the best decision and investment I have made thus far for my business. It also gave me the extra boost of confidence I needed to forge ahead!

Thank you again Gina!!!”

“Gina was a joy to work with on my branding photos for my psychotherapy practice.

From the moment I connected with her, I felt more comfortable about the process. She walked me through what the session would look like, answered any questions I had in the moment and was available for questions that came up prior to our shoot.

On the session day, Gina came early and prepared. She was excited about the project and made me feel so comfortable as we went through the shoot.

She was patient with questions in the moment and her calm energy helped ease any fears that I had.

Gina was receptive to the shot list I had for my website and captured everything I requested but also had a vision to take beautiful shots that I did not even know I needed.

She captured everything beautifully and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a branding photographer and to anyone who feels uncomfortable about getting photos taken.

I am so excited about using her photos!”

Questions You May Have…

Though I’m sure we’ll cover lots of ground when we connect, here are a few answers to some questions you may have in the meantime.

I define documentary photography as an unstaged, hands-off approach that captures genuine, raw, and emotional moments as they naturally unfold. I focus on authentic storytelling and “in-between” moments, working discreetly to allow subjects to be themselves rather than directing or posing them.

How does your documentary photography background affect how you’ll photograph my brand?

What will your goals be when photographing my brand?

I have found that the most flattering photographs are the ones without any interference, performance or posing. By catching a genuine and emotional moment and using my experience and skills as a photographer, I am creating an artful image that highlights your beauty.

I completely understand and feel the same way when I’m on the other side of the camera. To put you at ease, I’ll share that my portfolio is made of individuals who felt the same way. I promise our time together will be comfortable and centered around your experience. I’ll help ensure you can forget about the camera, be present and not feel performative. When you don’t feel that you’re being photographed, you can’t hate it.

When do you step in while photographing?

Of course! I celebrate BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent and ALL individuals and couples from all cultures, beliefs and backgrounds. I am neurodivergent myself with a complex story that allows me to relate to others in a deep way. The human experience fascinates me and I’m very grateful that I can use my camera to show and record its complexity and beauty.

Absolutely! Though I’m based in Boston I regularly photograph throughout New England. I’m open to other regions/locations as well.

For session galleries, you can expect a turnaround time of 6 weeks or 8 weeks if you’d like a sneak peek 2 weeks after your session.
